Commercial Lines Trainee Program: The Commercial Lines Trainee Program is a two-year, accelerated learning program designed to develop underwriting skills. The program will provide participants with a stepping stone for future senior commercial lines positions within our company.
The program consists of a combination of formal classroom training, on the job coaching and training, special assignments, internal exams, soft skill training, external courses and exams, as well as self-study.Trainees will be assigned a mentor, a coach and a peer partner to coach, train and evaluate their progress throughout the program.
Upon completion of the program, Commercial Lines Trainees will be placed in an intermediate underwriting role within their respective region.

belairdirect Sales Trainee Program: belairdirect has a nine-week Sales Trainee Program that can jump-start your career in the insurance industry. Trainees in this program are expected to participate in classroom style sessions, as well as to complete assignments, read, and study on their own time. The first three weeks of the program focus on acquiring your insurance license. The following six weeks focus on training related to the various areas of belairdirect – Claims, Underwriting, Accounts Payable, etc.
belairdirect has deemed this program very successful, attributing the high number of internal promotions to its comprehensive training procedure. Due to the exposure they receive to so many different functions, graduates of this program have also been very successful in other areas of the business.

Opportunities out West... Claims Trainee Program: Our Claims Trainee Program combines classroom instruction with an opportunity to transfer skills on-the-job. Trainees for this program do not need any insurance industry specific experience, although customer service experience, strong interpersonal and oral communication skills are required.
